Run a real EU digital identity pilot — against real wallets, real credentials and real trust frameworks — and keep it when you go live.
Member states put EUDI wallets in citizens' hands from the end of 2026, and acceptance obligations follow for regulated relying parties. Company wallets and attestations come next.
The work in between is the part that takes time. Deciding which attributes you actually need. Working out what onboarding looks like when an applicant arrives with a verified identity instead of a scanned document. Identifying which of your existing checks that replaces, and which ones you keep. None of this can be answered from a specification — it has to be built and run.
With NEXUS you build and run that pilot now — against real credential formats and real trust frameworks, not a mock. National PID and EU Business Wallet credentials, EBSI and ETSI Trusted Lists, X.509 chains: the same formats and issuers you will meet in production.
Whether your case is straightforward KYC — accepting a state-issued national PID and being done with it — or something built on the EU Business Wallet, where organisations present mandates, powers of representation and company attributes, the platform covers it. And because NEXUS also connects to UNECE/UNTP, Catena-X and other data spaces, a pilot that starts with identity can grow into supplier verification and product credentials without changing platform.
Digital identity in the EU is not one rulebook. It is legislation, implementing acts, technical specifications, architecture reference framework updates, trust framework rulebooks and runbooks — all moving at different speeds.
NEXUS maintains a knowledge base of what is current across all of them, and its assistant answers against that rather than a snapshot from whenever it was trained. Ask what an attestation has to contain, which assurance level a given check requires, or what a specification revision means for an integration you have already built.
You can also connect your own agent. The platform's tooling is exposed over MCP to agents you already run, so a pilot can be driven from inside your own environment rather than only through ours.
Most pilots pick one or two of these as the starting point. All four run on the same platform.
Receive a person's identification data from their EUDI wallet and map its claims onto the customer record you already keep. This is where most teams discover which fields they were collecting out of habit.
Via the EU Business Wallet: confirm the organisation, the person in front of you, and the mandate binding the two — including powers of representation and the limits attached to them.
Send a credential back to a customer or partner wallet — a membership, an entitlement, a certification, an approval — so the next party in the chain can verify it without calling you.
Resolve issuers through EBSI, ETSI Trusted Lists or an X.509 certificate chain, so a signature is not just valid but traceable to an authority you have decided to accept.
A short working session to pick the process, the credentials to accept or issue, and the trust anchors you will recognise. You leave with a written scope and a success criterion.
We implement the flow on NEXUS against real formats and trust frameworks, and connect it to your own systems — your CRM, onboarding tool or supplier portal — rather than a stand-alone sandbox.
Real users, real wallets, real credentials. You measure what changes: fields dropped, checks replaced, time saved, exceptions that still need a human.
A findings report with the numbers, the open questions and a concrete production plan — scope, assurance level, operational readiness — so the go/no-go is a business decision, not a technical guess.
If you serve EU customers, you will meet EU wallets. An applicant presenting a verified national PID instead of a passport scan changes your onboarding whether or not the regulation applies to you directly — and it changes it in your favour, if you have done the work.
The second wave matters more for organisations abroad: dealing with EU authorities and EU counterparties will increasingly run through the EU Business Wallet. A pilot is the cheapest way to find out what that means for the systems you already run, years before it becomes urgent.
A pilot that has to be rebuilt to go live is a demo, not a pilot.
We deliver the complete implementation of the use case — a working flow against real formats, real trust frameworks and your own systems. When the case is proven, moving to production is a question of scope, assurance level and operational readiness, not a rewrite. We stay with it through that transition, when the timing is right for you.
Banks, insurers and fintechs facing wallet-acceptance obligations. Public bodies and utilities onboarding citizens and companies. Marketplaces, HR and education providers verifying qualifications. Manufacturers and buyers who need supplier identity and mandates verified before the supply-chain credentials that follow.
If you are already running a proof of concept elsewhere and want to test it against real credentials and trust lists, that works too — the pilot starts from wherever you are.
